The EPOCH 1000, 1000iR and 1000i are new horizontal and vertical body structures with full-color VGA display, shuttle and navigation arrows for parameter adjustment and are fully compliant with EN12668‐1. The advanced conventional ultrasound performance of the EPOCH 1000 Series is complemented in the EPOCH 1000i: The EPOCH 1000i has built-in phased array imaging.

*Advanced UT* The EPOCH 1000 is an advanced conventional ultrasonic flaw detector that can be upgraded at an authorized Olympus service center for phased array imaging.	*Advanced UT+ phased array (if purchased, ready to use)* The EPOCH 1000iR has the same ultrasonic defect detection capabilities as the EPOCH 1000 and can be easily upgraded to an instrument with phased array capability in the field for remote activation.	*Advanced UT+ built-in phased array function* The standard configuration of the EPOCH 1000i not only has the same advanced ultrasonic flaw detection capabilities as the EPOCH 1000, but is also equipped with built-in phased array imaging.
